Definition
Corrective action is an action to eliminate the cause of data issues.
Relations
- A corrective action is implemented in response to a correction.
- A corrective action prevents data issues respectively eliminated the cause of data issues.
- Corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence whereas preventive action is taken to prevent occurrence.
Example
Implementing a data quality rule in which the adress is derived from the zipcode instead of being filled in separately by the user.
