Comparability

Definitions

Comparability of data values over populations is the degree to which data values respresenting two or more populations have the same definition and are measured in the same way.

Comparability of data values over time is the degree to which data values over time have the same definition and are measured in the same way.

Examples

Comparability of sales figures in different areas.
Comparability of sales figures over the years.
