Accuracy

Definition

Accuracy of a data value is the degree of closeness of data values to real values.

Note

Accuracy can be determined, by comparing data in your database with a real-world measurement. For example, you could call a customer and ask if his email address is still john@mail.com. If you draw a sample from your database, you can make statements about the accuracy of all the data in the database.
