Population

Definition

A population is a set of objects of a specific entity type within a specific scope.

Note

The scope can be defined by the factor time and/or any other selection criteria.

Relation(s)

A population is subordinate to objects.
A population is described in a data file.

Examples

All inhabitants of the UK at the first of January 2023 older than 18 years.
All invoices of a company issued in 2000.
All cars with a French licence plate at the first of January 2023.
